Harry Potter‘s Chris Rankin announced for Dragon Con

FINALLY!!! Chris Rankin, who played the “Head-Boy-know-it-all” Weasley brother Percy in the Harry Potter films, has been announced as one of the latest additions to the Dragon Con guest list. Movie fans didn’t get to see much of Percy in the films, but book fans know that Percy’s “prodigal son” story arc was one of the great lessons taught in the series – about the importance of family, forgiveness, and unity. Dragon Con 2014: “Growing Up to Save the World” panel

This year at Dragon Con 2014, I had the pleasure of participating in a fan panel titled, “Growing Up to Save the World.” The panel was featured on the Whedonverse track, and the discussion was about the teenage antagonists/protagonists associated in television, film, and literature, and the pressures and consequences they face when the responsibilities of saving the world fall at their feet. One of my co-panelists was Kevin Bachelder of the podcast Tuning Into Sci-Fi TV, and he recorded the panel live, and has now…
